Canadian roots rock outfit The Commoners have released their brand new single “Runnin’ Blind,” alongside a home-video-style music video that offers an honest glimpse into life on the road.

The “Runnin’ Blind” music video is a must-watch, offering a peek behind the curtain with countless moments captured over years of touring. Equal parts nostalgic and chaotic, it follows the band’s adventures from city to city, celebrating the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

“We’re always chasing our tail, getting into trouble. You can never predict anything in this business, and that’s pretty much what inspired the tune. It’s both a criticism and a celebration of life on the road. The verses are specific reflections of things we’ve been through, while the chorus is the culmination of it all: ‘I must be out of my mind, thinking things would be different this time.’ This song became a light-hearted way to cope with the chaos of pushing through an industry that’s always fighting back.”
